Shaw Rugs on RugPal

Contemporary Geometric Shaw Rug

RugPal is pleased to welcome Shaw to its family of stunning rug manufacturers.

Shaw FLOORS got it start in 1946 as Star Dye company, a modest company that dyed tufted scatter rugs. Since that time the company grew by leaps and bounds. In 1967, a holding company formed by Star made its move to rug manufacturing by acquiring Philadelphia Carpet Company. The holding company went public in 1971 as Shaw Industries.

To distinguish itself from other rug manufacturers, Shaw purchased it own yarn plant, a continuous dye plant and trucking subsidiary. Shaw merged with Queen carpets and is became, what is now, a full-service flooring company.

Shaw rugs range in style from contemporary....
